Enlargment Super Hero Art

Enlargement SuperHero Art

What did you accomplish?
I accomplished creating an enlarged picture of Cat women.
I made accurate mesaurements and followed the grid lines.

Are you satisfied with your Super Hero enlargement?
Why / Why not? Yes I am satisfied with my enlargement
because I used bright colours to make Cat Woman stand
out.

What did you find easy when you created your SuperHero
enlargement? I found drawing the body of my super hero
easy because I used the pre- scaled image and the grid
lines to help me.

What did you find challenging when you were creating your
SuperHero enlargement? I found ruling the grid lines
challenging because there were a lot of steps

What do you need to work on?
I need to work on the legs of Cat Woman because they are too
thick.

What would you change with your Super Hero
enlargement? I would change the orange out line to make
it more stand out.

What would you do next time to improve Super Hero
enlargement? I would improve the details on Cat Woman’s face
so that it stands out and I woould make the whip smaller next
time.

My Information Report on my Mother

Information Report On my mother
By Deborah

The person I look up to is my Mum. She is an inspiration to me.
Her name is Almaz Gessese and she started a new life when
she came to New Zealand. She encourages me to enjoy life
and have fun. No matter where I am, she is always there for me
. When I need help she will help me, when I am sad she is
always there for me. She always takes care of me.
Sometimes I get mad at her but I will always forgive her no
matter what happens, I will always love her.

On July 1st 1986 my Mother was born. She was born in Gondre
Ethiopia. She has three sisters and one brother. My Mum’s
sister’s names are Helin, Anegu and Fiftete. Her brother’s
name is Huneghaw. My Mum was so close to her sisters and
her brother.  My Mum’s Parents were Almetu and Gessese.
My Mother’s parents died when my Mum was very young.
My grandmother died when my mother was 15 years old.
My grandfather died because he loved her so much.
My Mum’s older sister took care of her sister’s and her brother
after my grandparents death. It was a very tough job for my Mother’s older sister (Aunty) to take care of four siblings, but
she did it.

My Mum found studying hard because she really missed her
mother. She studied hospitality when she finished school. My
Mum really wanted to be a doctor or a nurse but she had so
many things going on in her life. She didn’t have the time to
have the dream job that she wanted. My Mother really wanted
to go to university but she was struggling to go everyday.

During 2007 my Mum got a job at Countdown.
She was screaming with joy. Her job at Countdown was only
part time but she didn’t mind at all. She was a cashier. If she
served anyone, she would always put on the biggest smile.
She would always be kind and helpful to all customers no
matter how nice or rude they would be towards her. My Mum
was always nice to everyone at Countdown.
During October 2008 Almaz Gessesse was pregnant with me
and my twin sister. My Mum was so shocked that she was
having twins, but a few minutes later she was jumping and
cheering.
The sad thing was she had to leave her job as a cashier at
Countdown. She was so sad about leaving her job. On June 1st
2009 me and my sister were born. I was first born because my
sister was in my Mum’s womb like a blanket and would not get
out. It took two whole minutes just for my sister to get out of
my our Mum’s womb. My Mum flew all the way to Ethiopia
because she wanted an Ethiopian wedding. My Mum also
had a normal wedding.

After my mum was pregnant she didn’t want to go to her old job
she wanted a fresh start. During November 2016 my Mum got
a job at Denny's. She was so happy. She got out of her seat
and started jumping and jumping and jumping until she got tired.
I was really happy for her. On my Mums first day she was so
happy.

Almaz has a lot of hobbies but these ones are her favourite.
They are cooking especially Ethiopian food, watching movies
especially Ethiopian dramas. Sometimes she watches movies
on Netflix and enjoys watching the news, so she knows what
is going on around the world. The beach is one of her favourite
places to visit.

My Mum always makes me special when I get a prize. She is
there for me, when I am sad. My mother always makes me
special all the time.
My Mum always helps me do lots of things, especially
homework. She likes helping me do a million things. I love her
so much. She drives me to school everyday and tries not to
make me and my sister late. I love my Mum with all of my
heart.

My Mum is like a gift to me. She does everything for me and
I thank her for that. She buys me everything I could possibly
need. My Mum has never had a break of her life. I truly believe
that my Mum is an Unsung Hero!
