Camila Mendes was born on June 29th, 1994. The location was at Charlottesville, Virginia. Her Nationality is American and Brazillian. Camila Mendes is fluent in Portuguese but was raised in the United States. Her Parents are Victor Mendes and Gisele Carraro. Mendes has a sister named Kiara Moreno. Camila spent a year in Brazil when she was ten years old. Camila moved 16 times growing up but spent most of the time in Florida. May 2016, Camila Mendes Graduated from the New York Tisch School of the Arts Program with her co-star Cole Sprouse.


Career 

Camila’s First Job was a commercial for IKEA. In 2017 she was cast for a high school sophomore “ Veronica Lodge” in the CW teen series, Riverdale, a show based on the Archie comics. She is also featured in a 2018 film called The New Romantic. In 2019 Camila joined the romantic comedy, The Perfect Date, the film was released on April 12th, 2019 on Netflix. Her Newest Movie that was released on 30th of April 2020, it is called Dangerous Lies. She is also featured in Coyote Lake and Palm Springs.


Personal Life 

Camila Mendes has suffered racial discrimination. When she's auditioning for characters and tells them she’s Latin American, she has heard the term “ You don't look Latin enough”. These words hurt Camila Mendes but also makes her stronger. Camila Mendes is an actress who identifies herself as a proud Latin American.


How she inspires me 

Camila Mendes inspires me in many different ways. How she handles the hate and drama about herself inspires me the most. She makes me feel like I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Camila Mendes is proud of who she is and makes me feel proud of my own identity. She influences young future actors all around the world. Camila is a true leader and that's what I love about her.
